Companhia Paranaense de Energia (Copel) is a company that generates, transmits, distributes and sells energy, being one of the largest companies in the sector in Brazil. Copel has a leading role in the Brazilian electricity sector, as the result of its 68 years of experience and technical abilities in its field. The Company has been publicly traded on the São Paulo Stock Exchange, currently Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão (B3), since 1994, and was the first company in the Brazilian electricity sector to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), in July 1997. Copel entered the European market through its listing on LATIBEX, the Latin American arm of the Madrid Stock Exchange, in 2002. In 2021, the Company joined the Level 2 Corporate Governance of B3 after undergoing extensive advances in governance and compliance.

Copel serves a growing market, which currently includes 5 million consumer units in its concession area and covers 395 municipalities in the State of Paraná. Copel has 53 own power generation plants (18 hydroelectric, 1 thermal, and 34 wind), operates 1 thermoelectric plant and has equity stakes in 12 energy generation projects (5 hydroelectric, 1 thermal, 5 wind and 1 solar), all of which are currently in operation. The Company recently acquired the Aventura and Santa Rosa & Mundo Novo Wind Complexes, with a capacity of 260.4 MW, increasing the installed capacity of its portfolio to 7 GW.

Copel currently has 9,616 kilometers of transmission lines and 206,456 kilometers of distribution lines, in addition to the largest three-phase and smart grid programs for energy networks in Brazil – the Paraná Trifásico and Rede Elétrica Inteligente.

Mr. Daniel Slaviero holds a degree in Business Administration with specializations at the Kellogg School of Management/Fundação Dom Cabral and Harvard Business School. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Copel Holding and Chair of the Boards of Directors of its wholly-owned subsidiaries. He has held several positions in the Brazilian Television System Network - SBT, in the Silvio Santos Group, in the Brazilian Association of Radio and Television Broadcasters and in the Paulo Pimentel Group.

Mrs. Ana Letícia Feller holds a degree in Law with an Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral and an MBA in Leadership with Emphasis in Management from Estação Business School, with specializations in Management with Emphasis in Strategic People Management at FAE Centro Universitário and a specialization in Labor Law at UniBrasil. She has been a career employee at Copel since 2002, when she joined the Company as a lawyer, and held several positions in the compensation and business management areas.

Mr. Adriano Rudek de Moura has been serving as Copel’s CFO and IRO since May 2017, having previously served as CFO of Electrolux Latin America, CFO Brasil, and Controller Brasil. He began his career at Arthur Andersen (consulting & auditing) and served as member of several boards of directors and fiscal councils. He holds a degree in Accounting, with specializations in the strategic, finance, capital markets and governance areas, and is currently member of the advisory board of IBEF-PR.

Mr. Cássio Santana da Silva holds a degree in degree in Business Administration and an Executive MBA in Marketing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He worked as manager of the Northeast Business Division at Telefônica Brasil S.A. and as marketing manager in several companies, as well as regional sales manager at AmBev in the Dominican Republic.

Chief Governance, Risk and Compliance Officer – Mr. Vicente Loiácono Neto, holds a degree in Law, a post-graduate degree in Civil Procedural Law - Major Transformations from UniSul, and a master’s degree in Corporate Law and Citizenship from Centro Universitário Curitiba, with specializations in Regulation at the Florence School of Regulation. He has been a career employee at Copel since 2011, when he joined the Company as a lawyer. He is currently the Paraná coordinator of the Risk and Compliance Committee of the Brazilian Institute of Finance Executives (IBEF), and previously served as member of the Corporate Compliance and Anti-Corruption Committee of the Brazilian Lawyer Association (OAB-PR), as well as advisor and member of fiscal councils of several institutions.

Holds a degree in Electrical Engineering. He is member of the Board of Directors of the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Plant. As a career employee at Eletrobras-Eletrosul, he was responsible for the implementation of the transmission system of the Mauá Hydroelectric Power Plant, under the consortium Copel-Eletrosul. Before taking the position of Chief Subsidiary Officer of Copel Geração e Transmissão S.A., he was assistant secretary of Planning and Energy Development at the Ministry of Mines and Energy for eight years.

Mr. Maximiliano Andres Orfali built his career at Copel, where he has been working for 27 years. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with Executive MBAs in Corporate Finance and Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, with specializations on Electrical Power Systems at UFSC and Technical Management of Concessionaires at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). He previously held several management roles at the distribution company in the operation, maintenance, measurement, billing, services, commercial, finance and regulation areas. He also served as Superintendent of Business Management.

Mr. Fillipe Henrique Neves Soares holds a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree and a PhD in Electrical Engineering, with specializations in the CORe Credential for Readiness program at Harvard Business School, and in Financial decisions under Risk Conditions (Portfolio Theory) and Financial Asset Formation Models at the Faculty of Economics, Administration and Accounting of the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP). He previously served at the Electric Energy Commercialization Chamber (CCEE) and worked as manager and commercial energy consultant at Alcoa Alumínio. He also served as technical director of the Association of Large Industrial Energy Consumers and Free Consumers (Abrace), until 2021.
